27-Oct-2006 — Policy Changes and the IPTC

Soon we will be welcoming a new face lift and new features to BRCo-online. Hopefully our new look will coincide with the International Precision Teaching Conference held in Chicago 2-Nov to 4-Nov, 2006!

But, with our new functionality, we are bidding farewell to two longtime but archaic traditions at BRCo — fax and mail orders. With our new inventory system closely tied to our online ordering, it is no longer feasible to allow for the rare fax or mail-delivered order. These orders are often illegible, and are too often irrespective of current inventory or pricing. We’ve been predicting this in our Purchasing Information section for more than a year, so those of you who read small print should not be surprised! But for many of you, this will be an unfamiliar change.

The good news is that Purchase Orders are easier to accept with the new system. As long as we have approved your account for Purchase Orders, you will be presented with a Purchase Order option at the time of payment, at which time you will enter your PO # — as simple as that! For more information, just catch up with our Purchasing Information section as mentioned above and modified in March of this year.

With this change, our fax number will no longer accept faxes. Instead it will be an ill-monitored voice mail system. BRCo has never provided phone support, and the voice-mail will be checked only on rare occasion. E-mail is still the best way to contact us.

Happy Charting,

Scott
